The North Byron Hotel is a welcoming hotel in a magnificent part of northern New South Wales. 

Built on a site originally cleared for dairying and small cropping in the 1960’s, it was developed as a caravan park and later established as a beach resort. In the 1980s, the resort added a nine-hole golf course that operated for approximately 30 years. 

The Sun Bistro was also established as part of the Byron Bay Beach Resort, which was sold and closed; later reopening to the public in December 2021 as the North Byron Hotel. 

Locals and tourists who have ventured to Byron Bay in search of a vibrant atmosphere find themselves at North Byron Hotel’s door. 

Just a short hop from the town centre and hidden amongst native Australian bushland, we prioritise quality from kitchen to bar to entertainment.
